About farm：Eduar was born in Acevedo. He lives and works on the farm with his wife and two children. As a third-generation coffee grower, coffee has become an inseparable part of his life. The development of Finca La Palma has been full of challenges. Dedicating his whole career to coffee, Eduar built this 3-hectare farm that supports his family after years of hard work. His passion for specialty varieties and natural processing stems from his desire to improve his family’s living conditions. This ambition has led the farm toward specialty coffee production. Eduar’s primary goal is to keep optimizing the performance of specialty cultivars and raise the quality of his specialty coffee. For him, coffee is far more than a job; it is a vital undertaking to shape his family’s future. Finca La Palma showcases the terroir of Huila, and represents the new generation of Colombian coffee producers. They keep exploring varietal potential while building on traditional cultivation and processing techniques, so every lot can faithfully express the unique flavor shaped by origin, cultivar and processing method. |
