About farm: Gesha Village is owned by Adam Overton and Rachel Samuel. The farm location was selected with strict standards on altitude, ample rainfall, temperature profile, fertile virgin forest soil, mature native trees and intact coffee ecosystem. Situated near Gori Gesha Forest in remote western Ethiopia, the farm sits at the birthplace of the iconic Gesha genetic lineage that has spread worldwide. Covering 34.8 hectares, Gaylee Block features moderate elevation, mild humid climate and rich soil. It consistently delivers well-balanced, clean-cup coffees and stands as a reliable high-quality plot for the Green Label series. *Illubabor: This disease-resistant cultivar was selected and developed during a field survey in Illubabor’s coffee forest in 1974. It boasts strong environmental adaptability, outstanding disease resistance and clean, balanced cup characteristics. |
