| About farm: Las Margaritas Farm sits next to Potosí Farm, located in the mountains of Caicedonia at roughly 1800 masl. Its 34 hectares of coffee trees grow on steep mountain slopes, hosting a wide diversity of coffee varieties. Three generations of the family manage the farm, continuously introducing new cultivars and innovative ideas. In recent years, they have moved beyond conventional washed processing, pioneering production of many new varieties and setting trends within the specialty coffee industry. This modern spirit of exploration traces back to the mid-2000s, when the team traveled to Panama to deepen their expertise in coffee processing and agronomy. |
