About farm: In 2017, American entrepreneur Kyle Snider and his partner Larry Kolek invested in a small coffee farm in Panama. Driven by their passion for the coffee industry, they soon acquired adjacent land and officially embarked on coffee cultivation. In the early stages of their venture, they hired a professional team to improve the soil and introduce high-quality coffee varieties, gradually transforming the barren land into a professional plantation. As the operation expanded, they purchased two new plots in 2018 and attracted investors to establish a subsidiary. Over seven years, they developed over 300 acres of Geisha coffee-growing areas across six farms in western Panama, emerging as a rising star in the industry. Their estate adheres to sustainable development principles, employing organic farming techniques in the high-altitude regions of the Barú Volcano to produce premium coffee while maintaining low-carbon environmental practices. This start-up journey from scratch showcases the founders' exceptional execution in turning their passion into specialty agriculture.
