| About farm: El Dorado Estate lies on the Andean foothills of southern Loja Province, Ecuador. Almost every afternoon a dense fog rolls in from the Pacific, bathing the coffee trees in steady moisture and a stable micro-climate. In 2017 the farm's owner, Juan Peña, and his two sons opened this land with a single goal: to produce organic specialty coffee. Working hand-in-hand with neighboring growers and the wider community, they blend generations of local knowledge with modern organic farming, biodynamic practices and an ecological-cultural philosophy. At an ideal altitude, in fertile soils and with unique water conditions, they cultivate coffees of remarkable flavor.
