About farm：Santa Lucia Estate is located high in the Cerro Azul Meámbar National Park of Honduras, a protected reserve known for its pristine forests, rich biodiversity, and ideal microclimates for growing world-class coffee. Originally created as an experimental farm, Santa Lucia explored exotic varieties and innovative processing techniques before rising to international fame. Under the meticulous management of the Mierisch family, the estate has become one of Honduras’ most decorated producers. Santa Lucia achieved Cup of Excellence 1st place in 2019 and 2021, 2nd place in 2022, and in 2023 launched its own PCA Private Collection Auction, solidifying its status as a top-tier origin. About process：Only ultra-ripe cherries are harvested by hand. After depulping, the parchment undergoes 36–48 hours of natural fermentation, depending on temperature, before being fully washed and transferred to raised beds. Slow drying for ~25 days preserves clarity and refined acidity, hallmarks of Santa Lucia’s Gesha profile. |
