About Farm：Buena Vista Farm (Spanish for "Beautiful View") sits at 1,650 meters above sea level. More than just the Sambony family’s life’s work, it embodies the convergence of Huila’s fertile lands and specialty coffee culture. Gildardo Sambony is not a large-scale producer, but his uncompromising pursuit of quality has gradually earned his coffees recognition in the market. He continually experiments with unique varieties, cultivating Caturra, Papayo, and Pink Bourbon across his farm. The most remarkable, however, is an exceptionally rare and flavorful variety: Bourbon Ají ("Chili Bourbon"). Due to its low yields and high cultivation demands, Bourbon Ají remains extremely scarce globally. By growing such niche varieties and applying meticulous washed processing, Gildardo not only preserves Huila’s coffee traditions but also pushes the boundaries of flavor. Buena Vista is more than a farm, it’s a living laboratory where family legacy and flavor exploration thrive. |
